The Rusty Red Bushy Nose Pleco is a striking addition to any aquarium, known for its vibrant color and beneficial behavior. Typically, the Rusty Red Bushy Nose Pleco grows to a maximum size of about 6 inches. However, in most home aquariums, it usually stays around 4 inches. Upon arrival, regular-sized fish are approximately 1-2 inches, while medium-sized ones are around 2-2.5 inches. For the best results, provide GloFish® Wafers. to ensure a well-balanced diet.

Set-Up Your Tank

• Make sure it all works: We suggest your tank be set-up for at least 24 hours before ordering fish to ensure all equipment is working.
• Use a heater: GloFish® fish enjoy tropical temperatures of 76-80F.
• Make Them Shine Their Brightest: GloFish® fish absorb light and then re-emit it, so their unique fluorescent colors will appear brighter and more vibrant as the amount of light is increased. So the more blue light you have the more your fish will shine!

Add Your Fish

• Follow this acclimation guide to make sure they adjust to their new home.

Feed Your Fish

• Feed two to three times daily, in small amounts, only as much as your fish can eat in a minute or so.
• Danios, tetras, and barbs GloFish Special Flake food or GloFish® MicroCrisp Food
• GloFish® Sharks and Cory Catfish need GloFish® Wafers.
• Treat all your fish to GloFish® Daphnia Treat that aids in digestion.

Temperature Delays: Fish are sensitive to high and low temperatures. To ensure your fish make the journey safely, we reserve the right to hold orders until the temperatures are safe for their arrival. This generally means no overnight temps of less than 32°F (40°F for barbs).
