GloFish® Skirt Tetra Basic Set (6ct)

Add a burst of color to your aquarium with the GloFish® Skirt Tetra Basic Set (6ct). These hardy, peaceful fish are ideal for both beginner and experienced fish keepers. Their vibrant fluorescent colors and calm swimming behavior make them a favorite in community tanks.

GloFish® White Skirt Tetras are easy to care for and thrive in a variety of freshwater environments. Because of their social nature, it’s best to keep them in groups of five or more. This helps them feel secure and brings out their natural schooling behavior. As a result, your aquarium will look more active and balanced.

In terms of tank size, their moderate build makes it easy to plan—one fish per gallon is a good rule of thumb. That means this 6-pack fits nicely into tanks as small as 10 gallons when properly filtered and maintained.

This set includes six GloFish® White Skirt Tetras in assorted colors. You’ll receive at least two different colors, and no more than two of the same color. The selection is randomized and not customizable - so let us pick the mix!

Set-Up Your Tank

• Make sure it all works: We suggest your tank be set-up for at least 24 hours before ordering fish to ensure all equipment is working.
• Use a heater: GloFish® fish enjoy tropical temperatures of 76-80F.
• Make Them Shine Their Brightest: GloFish® fish absorb light and then re-emit it, so their unique fluorescent colors will appear brighter and more vibrant as the amount of light is increased. So the more blue light you have the more your fish will shine!

Add Your Fish

• Follow this acclimation guide to make sure they adjust to their new home.

Feed Your Fish

• Feed two to three times daily, in small amounts, only as much as your fish can eat in a minute or so.
• Danios, tetras, and barbs GloFish Special Flake food or GloFish® MicroCrisp Food
• GloFish® Sharks and Cory Catfish need GloFish® Wafers.
• Treat all your fish to GloFish® Daphnia Treat that aids in digestion.

Temperature Delays: Fish are sensitive to high and low temperatures. To ensure your fish make the journey safely, we reserve the right to hold orders until the temperatures are safe for their arrival. This generally means no overnight temps of less than 32°F (40°F for barbs).
