GloFish® Skirt Tetras thrive in freshwater community tanks. They are calm swimmers that add a gentle rhythm to the midsection of your aquarium. Because they’re social fish, they prefer to be in groups. While this set includes three of the same color, we recommend keeping at least five tetras together for the most natural behavior and a lively display. Which makes this collection a great addition to any order. 

These fish are also a great fit for tanks of various sizes. With their moderate size, a good rule of thumb is to allow one gallon of tank space per fish to keep your aquatic environment healthy and balanced.

Set-Up Your Tank

• Make sure it all works: We suggest your tank be set-up for at least 24 hours before ordering fish to ensure all equipment is working.
• Use a heater: GloFish® fish enjoy tropical temperatures of 76-80F.
• Make Them Shine Their Brightest: GloFish® fish absorb light and then re-emit it, so their unique fluorescent colors will appear brighter and more vibrant as the amount of light is increased. So the more blue light you have the more your fish will shine!

Add Your Fish

• Follow this acclimation guide to make sure they adjust to their new home.

Feed Your Fish

• Feed two to three times daily, in small amounts, only as much as your fish can eat in a minute or so.
• Danios, tetras, and barbs GloFish Special Flake food or GloFish® MicroCrisp Food
• GloFish® Sharks and Cory Catfish need GloFish® Wafers.
• Treat all your fish to GloFish® Daphnia Treat that aids in digestion.

Temperature Delays: Fish are sensitive to high and low temperatures. To ensure your fish make the journey safely, we reserve the right to hold orders until the temperatures are safe for their arrival. This generally means no overnight temps of less than 32°F (40°F for barbs).
