GloFish® Rainbow Shark (~2-3")

Gliding to and from the nooks and crannies the GloFish® Rainbow Shark is king of the bottom of the tank. While they aren't a true shark - their bold personalities make it beleivable that they are. These fish thrive in large tanks that offer hidden spaces they can claim as their own. You'll see them patroling their space while respecting fish that reside at other levels of the aquarium. As they roam they clean the tank by eating leftover food, algae, and even small snails.  

Caring for Sharks

• These large fish need room to roam. Ensure your tank is 40-gallons or larger. 
• Multiple sharks can coexist in tanks over 55-gallons with plenty of hiding spaces.
• Avoid adding other bottom dwelling fish.

• One GloFish® Rainbow Shark about 2-3 inches long
• Pick your color: Sunburst Orange®, Electric Green®, Cosmic Blue®, and Galactic Purple®. 

Set-Up Your Tank

• Make sure it all works: We suggest your tank be set-up for at least 24 hours before ordering fish to ensure all equipment is working.
• Use a heater: GloFish® fish enjoy tropical temperatures of 76-80F.
• Make Them Shine Their Brightest: GloFish® fish absorb light and then re-emit it, so their unique fluorescent colors will appear brighter and more vibrant as the amount of light is increased. So the more blue light you have the more your fish will shine!

Add Your Fish

• Follow this acclimation guide to make sure they adjust to their new home.

Feed Your Fish

• Feed two to three times daily, in small amounts, only as much as your fish can eat in a minute or so.
• Danios, tetras, and barbs GloFish Special Flake food or GloFish® MicroCrisp Food
• GloFish® Sharks and Cory Catfish need GloFish® Wafers.
• Treat all your fish to GloFish® Daphnia Treat that aids in digestion.

Unauthorized production, distribution, intentional breeding, and sales or trades of GloFish® fish offspring are strictly prohibited without proper FDA approvals.

Temperature Delays: Fish are sensitive to high and low temperatures. To ensure your fish make the journey safely, we reserve the right to hold orders until the temperatures are safe for their arrival. This generally means no overnight temps of less than 32°F (40°F for barbs).
