Rusty Red Bushy Nose Pleco

The Rusty Red Bushy Nose Pleco features warm red coloration and a textured appearance that stands out in freshwater aquariums. As the fish matures, small bristles form around the nose, giving it a distinctive look against aquarium décor. Its steady, surface-oriented movement adds subtle activity to the lower areas of a community aquarium. Bushy nose plecos regularly explore glass, décor, and substrate as they forage. 

Note: Companion fish do not fluoresce, but they make a great addition to a community tank.

Set-Up Your Tank

• Make sure it all works: We suggest your tank be set-up for at least 24 hours before ordering fish to ensure all equipment is working.
• Use a heater: GloFish® fish enjoy tropical temperatures of 76-80F.
• Make Them Shine Their Brightest: GloFish® fish absorb light and then re-emit it, so their unique fluorescent colors will appear brighter and more vibrant as the amount of light is increased. So the more blue light you have the more your fish will shine!

Feed Your Fish

• Feed two to three times daily, in small amounts, only as much as your fish can eat in a minute or so.
• Danios, tetras, and barbs GloFish Special Flake food or GloFish® MicroCrisp Food
• GloFish® Sharks and Cory Catfish need GloFish® Wafers.
• Treat all your fish to GloFish® Daphnia Treat that aids in digestion.
