GloFish® Large Rainbow Shark (~3-4")

Gliding to and from the nooks and crannies the GloFish® Large Rainbow Shark is king of the bottom of the tank. While they aren't a true shark - their bold personalities make it believable that they are. These fish appreciate large tanks that offer hidden spaces they can claim as their own. You'll see them patrolling their space while respecting fish that reside at other levels of the aquarium. As they roam they forage for eating leftover food, algae, and even small snails.  

Caring for Sharks

• These large fish benefit from ample space. 
• Multiple sharks can coexist in tanks over with plenty of space and hiding spaces.
• Avoid adding other bottom dwelling fish.

Set-Up Your Tank

• Make sure it all works: We suggest your tank be set-up for at least 24 hours before ordering fish to ensure all equipment is working.
• Use a heater: GloFish® fish enjoy tropical temperatures of 76-80F.
• Make Them Shine Their Brightest: GloFish® fish absorb light and then re-emit it, so their unique fluorescent colors will appear brighter and more vibrant as the amount of light is increased. So the more blue light you have the more your fish will shine!

Add Your Fish

• Follow this acclimation guide to make sure they adjust to their new home.

Feed Your Fish

• Feed two to three times daily, in small amounts, only as much as your fish can eat in a minute or so.
• Danios, tetras, and barbs GloFish Special Flake food or GloFish® MicroCrisp Food
• GloFish® Sharks and Cory Catfish need GloFish® Wafers.
• Treat all your fish to GloFish® Daphnia Treat that aids in digestion.
