Dwarf Neon Rainbow Fish Set (5ct)

The Dwarf Neon Rainbow Fish is a beautiful, peaceful companion for your GloFish! When young, they have silvery bodies.  As they grow older and reach their mature size of ~2.5", males develop a deep blue hue on their body while females are slightly lighter in color.  Just like GloFish, you will get the best colors when using dark gravel.  They are an overall hardy fish, but can be sensitive to fluctuating pH. Therefore we recommend that you use Tetra EasyBalance weekly to keep the pH stable.  

While very peaceful with other fish, male rainbows can become aggressive with each other during mating times.  We recommend keeping them in a 20 gallon aquarium or larger in groups of at least five.  It also a good idea to provide lots of plants to mimic their natural environment.  

**The Dwarf Neon Rainbow Fish has been selected for compatibility with GloFish, but it is not fluorescent.**
